Whether you are a reenactor or just admire the classic styles of the 1940's, you'll love this dress! Made from an original pattern dated 1943, in a lovely %100 cotton red baby wale corduroy. Comfortable and versatile, it's extra warmth and durability will take you through many seasons. Wear it in daytime or dress it up for evening wear. Pictures really don't do it justice!
As with our other clothing, this dress is made with true historical accuracy in mind. Buttons are covered with matching fabric. The sleeves and side opening have snaps and a hook an eye at the waist. Shoulder pads are tacked in to round out the style and fit of the dress.
Fabric has been pre washed. Recommended care is delicate wash, *low heat* or hang to dry. Iron on reverse side of fabric only, use a needle board or steam. Dry cleaning also acceptable.
