Up for sale is a WWII period appropriate hair snood in a lovely turquoise blue. Made from a 1943 dated pattern with the same cotton thread as originally called for. The drawstring accented with tassles on top makes it easy to adjust it to your hair length.
As a re-enactor, I strive for the highest authenticity in my appearance and do the same for my work. Many of these items come only from years of collecting patterns, finding the correct materials and learning the construction techniques.
